Olubanjo (Banjo) has a combined background in technology and financial services with experience working with providers to develop and launch technology-driven products and services that are delivered sustainably to customers. He is an advocate of the use of technology to drive universal access to essential services including financial services. He leads the demand-side workstreams at SIDFS and combines consumer research with engagements with financial service providers and other stakeholders in the industry to drive universal access to financial services. Banjo’s professional experience cut across banking & finance, information & communication technology and management consulting. Prior to joining LBS, he provided consumer research and business advisory services to firms that successfully launched technology-driven products and services in Nigeria. Prior to this, Banjo was a financial systems specialist with Central Bank of Nigeria where he led the design, deployment, integration and operation of the Bank’s banking and payment systems.
